Local authority and national park authority access officers.
Local authority and national park authority access officers.
Each of Scotland's 32 local authorities employs at least one access officer, as do the two national park authorities of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and the Cairngorms National Park. Together, these make up Scotland's 34 access authorities.
The access officers uphold access rights and facilitate access and should be your first port of call for any local access enquiry, question or problem.
