Funding for access-related projects may be obtainable from a variety of sources, including your local or national park authority.

Support for path development may be available under the Scotland Rural Development Plan (SRDP) - Improving Public Access (IPA) scheme. IPA opens for applications annually mid-March to end May, Agri-Environment Climate Scheme,

Scottish Natural Heritage may be able to offer grants for environmental work including access-related projects. Advice about these and other funding sources which can be used to support outdoor access provision can be found on the Nature.scot website.

Sustrans and Paths for All also have certain funds available.
