Guidance from a collaboration of the British Horse Society Scotland (BHSS), Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) and the Paths for All Partnership (PFAP) on construction and maintenance of facilities for horses and riders can be found in these Equestrian access fact sheets.
A poster is also available called Are you riding responsibly? This Are you riding responsibly poster aimed at riding schools, stables and other equestrian establishments giving key information about access rights to the outdoors whilst out horse riding in Scotland.
